Former Chief PRLL Umpire Passes Away

PRLL mourns the recent passing of Fred Baldus.  Mr. Baldus was a long-time umpire in PRLL, at a time when the league was dependent upon an all-volunteer umpire staff.   Fred grew into the position of Chief Umpire and was active in the training of new umpires, as well as umpiring a large proportion of the league's games.  He was also a key member of the PRLL Board of Directors.
