LLB 12u DISTRICT 18 TOURNAMENT:

7/5/21:  After winning their opener against New City, 12-4, and being edged by NVC, 6-4, PRLL was eliminated tonight by South Orangetown, 5-0. 




LLB 11u DISTRICT 18 TOURNAMENT:      New City won the District 18 title by beating West Nyack on July 5.


 
LLB 10u DISTRICT 18 TOURNAMENT:
  
6/30/21:   Marty Donohue and the boys 10's won their three pool games,  and then won a tournament semi-final game on Friday, July 2. They played in the championship game on Monday, July 5, at the Stony Point field, against New City.  PRLL played a good game, but New City pulled off a game tying and winning rally in the final inning to win the D-18 title, 4-2.  USE THIS LINK TO SEE PHOTOS OF THE TITLE GAME:  2021 PRLL Boys 10's in District 18 Final (July 5, 2021) 




LLSB 12u (Major Girls) DISTRICT 18 TOURNAMENT:
          (PRLL eliminated 6/25/2021; South Orangetown won the D-18 title)



LLSB 11u DISTRICT 18 TOURNAMENT: 

The District 18 11 year-old Softball Tournament consisted of a best 2 of 3 series between Pearl River L.L. and New City L.L.  The New City team took the District 18 banner by winning the first two games and will move on to the NY State tournament.

LLSB 10u DISTRICT 18 TOURNAMENT:
 (The PRLL 10's won tournament opener, but were eliminated by losses to New City and Stony Point, who played each other in the final, with New City winning).




NON-DISTRICT 18 TOURNAMENTS: 

WEST NYACK'S ROCKLAND CO. 9 YEAR-OLD TOURNAMENT (BASEBALL):

7/4: The PRLL 9's have won their first three pool games, and they play Stony Point (also 3-0) on July 5 for top seeding in the playoffs.  Update 7/5:  In a great game, PRLL edged Stony Point, 2-1, and are now the top seed in the tournament.  July 9:  PRLL downed West Nyack, 10-0 in a semi-final game on Friday, July 9, and will play in the championship game on Saturday, July 10, at 11:00 a.m. against New City.  July 10: The PRLL 9's blanked New City, 11-0, to win the County Championship. WEST NYACK'S 11 YEAR-OLD TOURNAMENT (BASEBALL):

A second summer tournament for 11 year-old boys was held in West Nyack from July 10-19.  After a win over Suffern, the PRLL Boys' 11's lost in a semi-final game to a West Nyack/Nanuet team that won the title game two days later over Nyack-Valley Cottage.  Further details and the results of all the games can be found at the WNLL website (click link here).

MONDAY, JUNE 7, 2021:  PRLL MAJOR GIRLS CHAMPIONS - LSU TIGERS

The LSU Tigers and the Arizona Sun Devils squared off for the Championship of the PRLL 2021 Major Girls Division.  The Tigers prevailed with an impressive display of hitting and pitching.  See the News Item (Home Page) for a photo of the champions and a link to a photo album of the game.
